Do Diets Really Help You Lose Weight?
The following is a guest article by Erik Heyl:
As I’m sure you’ve seen on TV or read in the news or on the Web weight control is a major health issue, both in Canada and more so the United States of the current proliferation off diet diets diet pills, and fad nutritional systems is proof that we know there is an issue but there still seems to be a problem with the combating this is a recent survey done and then this survey discovered that there are essentially three reasons why shedding pounds is an obstacle.
The three reasons cited in the survey were
1. Inadequate incentives to lose weight.
2. Hunger.
3. Bad days.
Let’s take a look at these three reasons in detail. we know that we gain weight, because we either consume too many calories, or burn too few. The question that we need to answer in this case, is: how will benefit from losing weight? most dieters are unable to answer this question. Common answers include: I will feel better or my health will improve. These particular answers are far too general in that they don’t tackle the persons specific need to lose the weight. Some people may say that they are trying to lose the weight to satisfy their doctor or a family member as well. A diet or needs to come up with his or her own reasons for wanting to lose the weight and live a healthier lifestyle. It needs to be specific to that person.
But, how does hunger stop you from losing weight? Skipping meals, it is usually the main cause of hunger. So in order to get your weight loss plan off on the right foot, you need to make sure that you eat regularly throughout the day. Regular eating reassures your body that food is fundable, so I Burns calories more efficiently. This will also help to maintain a steady blood sugar level, which will also prevent the sudden urge to over eat. Another important factor, is how much water you drink. When you drink water, your brain is sending the signal to your stomach that you are not hungry. Drinking water also has the added bonus of cleaning out any toxins that your body may have accumulated.
So, how does one deal with bad days? Many dieters seem to insist on a perfection. so, if they eat some ice cream. Or maybe a box of cookies, they feel like they have failed and quit. The solution here, is quite simple: do not try to be perfect. if you realize that you are not perfect. And you are entitled to have a bad day, you’ll find losing the weight that much easier.
